A daughter says:

Dr SP Gupta did the Gall Bladder Removal Surgery in May 2011. Before the surgery CT scan was done which showed no mass anywhere in the body not even in the Pancreas. ALL infection and lesions occurred after this surgery. The Patient had an enlargement of stomach soon after the surgery. The Patient even complained to doctor of stomach Pain but the doctor always ignored the Patient‘s concern and simply stated that the patient was too worried(My Father was a strong Man. He never complained of anything unless something was too severe. He was a man of Patience) and nothing severe was there .He neither diagnosed anything nor referred the Patient to some other Doctor (but never forgot to charge the fees).
Next comes Dr Sunil Arya and his Late diagnosis . The Doctor had a Money Minded attitude. Patient complained of severe stomach pain in may 2012 but the doctor’s response was .” it’s a mere Bile duct blockage and stomach Pain is not linked to it”. Who will diagnose this stomach Pain then? After making money twice by placing stents one in the month of June and another in the month of July patient was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer on July 2012 when surgery was not an option.

The Patient was having his chemo sessions at PGI and in the meantime there were regular visits to Sunil Arya (as referred by PGI Gastroenterology team) regarding weakness, Placement of NBD. Patient revealed all symptoms of shortness of breath, faintness, weakness but the doctor simply overlooked all these symptoms and prescribed medicines for weakness and did not diagnosed the blood clots(DVT: Deep Vein Thrombosis). On Jan 2013 patient’s condition was declared serious and next day patient died of cardiac arrest (not cancer) due to blood clots (DVT: Deep Vein Thrombosis) which reached heart which could have been prevented if blood thinners would have been given on time in NOVEMBER
As per me both the doctors SP Gupta and Sunil Arya are responsible for my Papa’s untimely death, the Former who did the Gall Bladder Removal Surgery and the latter who diagnosed cancer and DVT so late. If he would have diagnosed both cancer and DVT early my Papa would have been with me today. Everything would have been the same today but now my mother , brother and I are completely shattered because of my Papa’s absence.
I simply want both these Doctor’s Lives to be shattered in the same way mine, my brother and my mother’s lives are. This Profession is not at all a noble profession. This is merely a Profession to make more and more money even at the cost of Lives. I simply feel that executioner is more Nobel than Doctors as the executioner is performing his duty while the doctors are killing people for money in the face of performing duty.

I have full right to sue these Doctors and to make their lives pathetic as they have made mine. I demand my compensation now. I want my Papa back, all those moments we have spend together back. I simply want Papa back nothing else

Patient' s loved one says:

Pathetic worst greedy doctor who kills patients for money

Patient' says:

He should not practise and should let his patients live a happy life.I hope d same tragedy happens to your family d way u did to mine.

Concerned citizen says:

Could you plz elaborate on how you think the surgeon who did the gbd surgery could have prevented the development of pancreatic cancer?

Concerned citizen says:

Did the pain ur dad experience on day 1 post op not subside? Is it not normal to have abdominal pain after a surgery?
Was he discharged in an unsatisfactory condition?

Who did u consult for the entire year between surgery and may 2012?
Also, were any scans r usgs done during this period?

Also where did you get the ct scan pre op done? And why did you never consider the chances of a missed diagnosis at that level?
