A Note On Patiala Dairy Farming Units

The state is taking various incentives to promote dairy farming in and near Patiala. The local farmers have been motivated to the diversification of crops. Dairy development has also been given a lot of priority. The department of dairy development in the state of Punjab has gone for huge loans.

Almost 20 crores have been invested for the farmers. Near about 200 dairy units have been set up and yet a few more are in the pipeline. Deputy commissioner GK Singh has also mentioned about initiatives to motivate farmers.  The farmers have sparked in with newly found enthusiasm. Thus, the state has promised many new and effective farming tools to the state. As per DC, the farmers have been provided with loans. These loans were basically taken from NABARD and have been used for the establishment of dairy units. These units have varying capacity from milking of 4 to even 100 cattle.

With all these betterments in the field of farming, the state has promised an increase in the livestock based income, both for the farmers and the state. As per the authorities in Patiala, the main initiative is to bring in more employment in the state. Thus, this could lead to the mass eradication of unemployment.

The border has been so bright that almost about 1200 farmers have found new spirit. This has motivated the youth of the village to a high extent. The state has not only come with job opportunities, it is providing adequate training as well. These trainings encompass a range of activities like the breeding of milking animals to dairy development in Patiala.
