Sub Inspector Phulel Singh Among Three Held For Extortion In Patiala

The city police arrested Sub Inspector Phulel Singh of the sixth Battalion of IRB (Punjab Police), along with his partner in crime Prabhjot Kaur for supposedly creating obscene video recordings of others and collecting funds from them. The police officials have made a recovery of around Rs 35K and a cellular phone that contained the wrong video movies, from them. Their partner in crime Krishna is still at liberty.

As per city’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mr. HS Mann, following the complaint lodged by Darshan Singh, the resident of Good Earth Colony on last Friday, the police filed a case against Phulel Singh and his partner in offense under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and Information Technology Act 2000.
