Patiala MC To Discuss Moving 631 Establishments Today

The Municipal Corporation of Patiala is being expected for discussing the shift of the commercial businesses out of the residential places in the meeting of the general house on Monday.

The workers of Congress have started criticizing the Government for their failure for providing substitute sites to these business establishments which are being moved.

The affected business establishments too are aggressively opposing the decision and will go on a strike from Monday. As per the sources, six hundred and thirty one establishments have been short listed by the municipal corporation which will be shifted.

There are a few SAD BJP counselors also who are backing the establishments who have been shortlisted in the process.

“One thing that disturbs all of us is that the administration has not been capable of offering a alternate to the set ups that are being moved,” said the official.
