Over Dozen Vehicles Seized In Patiala

The Samana police have grabbed more than a dozen vehicles in a concentrated attempt on illegitimate miners in the city of Patiala. But, the police officials could not detain even a single individual from the place.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court had a few days back damned the police officials for not taking steps with the aim to embark upon illegitimate mining.

“The mining mafia got a tip-off and fled from the scene when we reached the spot, leaving behind their trucks and a JCB machine,” said Daljit Virk, SHO Sadar, Samana.
