Much Ado Regarding Nothing In Patiala

The Lowest Promoting Cost (MSP) record for the kharif season plants, which was completed by the cupboard panel on financial matters (CCEA) on Friday, came to dejection for Punjab govt. since CCEA did not fix MSP for maize plants.

Promoting maize crops as a future crop in state, farming authorities also remained unchecked for exhorting the farm owners to develop maize under variation projects.

Besides this, providing 70% of subsidy on multiple plant seeds of the crop such as P7396 & PX369, local govt. had also released a lead ventures in order to advertise plants in 56 regions, such as Barnala, Patiala, SAS Nagar, Fatehgarh, and Ludhiana.

Showing issues over shortage of the water due to paddy practice of farming, the PSFC head GS Kalkat, in the latest farming plans, advised the govt. to advertise plants variation and to exhort farm owners to develop maize, vegetables, cereal products since it will be better for the promotion of savvy as well as excellent MSP.

Aiming at the decreasing place of water guzzling paddy, the farming division has also improved its place in case of maize plants, which usually takes very small amount of water. This season, maize was harvested in approximately 1.70 lakhs hectare whereas it was only 1.29 lakhs hectare last season.

Mangal Singh Sandhu, head of farming division, said despite leaning on some points the local govt. had been advertising the plants and the CCEA was not able to provide the required help to the crop in Patiala.

He also said that they were expecting the MSP for the maize plants to be described in CCEA record; however the choice came as surprise to them. Exempting MSP has obviously reduced spirits of farming professionals as well as the farm owners.

He also included that local govt. had already posted a offer challenging excellent MSPs for kharif plants under variation ventures and in order to decrease the place under paddy farming. It will be also beneficial if primary reverend Parkash Singh Badal announces better MSP in the end of the season.

He said that farming division had somehow handled to get maize plants out of its conventional places in Patiala regions to other places of the condition and assured farm owners to purchase of the crops at their condition stage.

Moreover, Sukhdev Singh Kokriwhao is assistant at Bhartiya Kisan Partnership said that govt. should be very conscious regarding the MSP of before advertising the crop.
