More Than 12,000 Oxytocin Injections Recovered

The Patiala police today seized more than 12,000 jabs and more than 2 lakh habit-forming tabs.

The officials have seized the banned oxytocin jabs, which are illegitimately utilized on farm animals for better milk yield.

“This jab is deadly and is now utilized by drug addicts to get a kick,” added Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) HS Mann.

Mr. HS Mann stated that they had raided a plant ‘Presto Remedy’ and seized more than 12,000 jabs.

“In a separate case, we have seized lakhs of capsules and other medications being illegally carried by two persons in Nabha,” he said.
