Amarinder Bajaj – Give Traders 10 Years To Relocate Firms

The mayor of Patiala Mr. Amarinder Bajaj claimed today that a resolution has been passed by the General House giving the owners having illegal businesses a time period of ten years for shifting out of the residential sectors. Bajaj said that the Government is also being asked for giving a substitute site for the relocation of these businesses.

“A verdict has been passed and the administration will take the concluding say on this matter.” he added.

Meanwhile Congress and SAD BJP are combining today has got in a fix claiming for the decision.

While SAD BJP claims it to be their brain Child, Congress has said the combine was due to a pressure for taking a decision.

Brahma Mohindra the MLA of Congress (Patiala) attended the meeting of the General House and also asked the counselors for ensuring the shopkeepers who have been affected by the decision.

“The administration must be a little sympathetic for shopkeepers because the majority of these shopkeepers work from the current places for a couple of years.” he added.

Congress is criticizing the Government for its failure for drawing the Road Map for providing substitute locations for such illegal businesses.
