Moti Bagh Gurudwara
The Gurudwara Sahib is located near the Old Motibagh Palace .This holy place was constructed by Maharaja Narinder Singh in1852. It was built as a tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. Guru Tegh Bahadur ji stayed here when he was on his way to his extreme sacrifice, for the sake of Kashmiri pundits and nation, on the call of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb .The whole area was a jungle at that time and no memorial was lift up until Maharaja Narinder Singh constructor of Moti Bagh Palace built this Gurudwara Sahib. The whole structure is built in a square room surrounded by veranda. Every side had one door out of three are closed with beautifully carved brass sheets. The interior of building including walls and ceiling adorned with filigree work and multicolored glass pieces. First flour is in a square shape with a lotus dome on its peak. Guru ka Langar is marked on birth anniversaries and martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. Religious gatherings are also made on these occasions. Holy procession starts from city and it finishes at Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib.

Moti Bagh Palace
The construction of Moti Bagh Palace was started by Maharaja Narinder Singh in 1845 but it was completed by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh in 1920. It covers the area of 160 acres and its present cost is 35 crores. Main attraction points of this building are 15 dining halls and many other buildings near it. Front of the building is made in Rajasthani style like jharokas and chhatris. This is a biggest residential place in world. In previous days, it was the house of rulers of Patiala.
The walls of palace are beautifully decorated with mythology pictures and sketches of the Sikh gurus. Now a day’s its small part has been converted into a house of national institute of sports. It is a property of nation where international athletes are trained for international competitions. Tricolor flag always flies on its front wall. Old Moti Palace was changed into a museum. It has a largest collection of medals.
