Rights Panel Seeking Reports From The Rajindra Hospital In Patiala

Punjab State Humans Right Commission sought detailed report in case of delaying in treatment of ten years old boy from Director of Medical and Research Education of Punjab up to the date of August 29, 2013.

Moreover, according to the reports of tribune, the panel also took a suo-motu cognisance rgrading new report of “ten years old victim of the apathy in Patiala hospital.

After these reports was published in news Dr Gill, whio is the Chairman of Committee  of Child Welfare, visited the hospital in order to enquire regarding condition of this unidentified child.

However, he was very surprised when he found that authorities of hospital were referring child back to the Ludhiana hospital without any type of treatment.

After his visit to the hospital, Dr DS Gill said that authorities of the hospital had completed all the arrangements and formalities to shift the patient to the another hospital.

Hoever, he called a meetng with all the doctors as well as the surgeons since the child was still bleeding and it was clear that that it was severe rectal prolapsed.

After that the Dr. DS Gill asked the doctors to shift the child to navijawani ward where the child must be taken complete cared of his ailment.

According to the reports of the sources, even after the intervention of Dr. Gill, the hospital authorities delayed in the treatment of child till morning.

The treatment of the child only began when this situation was brought under notice of Principal of Government Medical College, Dr. KD singh.

Dr Singh said that child had left only 3.5 grams of blood in his body and therefore it won’t be suitable to opetate him instantly. They have ordered the blood transfusion consequently hw will be fit for operation after thatand then they will operate him on coming Monday.
