Five People Got Held For Smuggling Of Approximately 5 Lakh Intoxicant Capsules In Patiala

Rajpura Police recently arrested five people for the smuggling of approximately five lakhs intoxicants in their truck. In addition to this, the accused were also charged for trying to bribe the police in order to hush up this case. SP Bhupinder Singh, who is SP of the police team at Rajpura intercepted the truck in their specific tip off and they were successful in seizing five lakhs intoxicants capsules from that truck. These drugs were hidden in the boxes of vegetables and fruits.

The police in the Rajpura have arrested five people in for smuggling approximately five lakhs intoxicant capsules.

The police arrested five occupants of the truck, identified as Jagdish Singh of Ferozepur, who was driving the vehicle; Arvinder Kumar of Chandan Nagar, Ludhiana; Ashok Kumar of Shakti Vihar, Ludhiana, and cleaner Tarsem Lal.

There were five occupants in the truck and they were identified as the Jagdish Singh from Ferozepur and the as the driver. The other was Ashok Kumar of Shakti Vihar, Arvinder Kumar from Chandan Nagar and Tarsem lal from Patiala.

The SP further included that the two of the arrested occupants offered Rs. 50,000 to ASI for hushing up this case.
