Budha Dal Public School

Buddha Dal Public School was founded by Jathedar Baba Santa Singhji, the Chief of the Buddha Dal, on May 6, 1984. The school started with just 15 students, but today it has over 2400 students on its rolls, many of them children of Army officers. The school was upgraded by CBSE to + 2 level in 1989 and it is now a full-fledged English-medium senior secondary public school. Currently, it is working under the guidelines of the Sikh Educational Society of the Shiromani Buddha Dal.

The school provides quality education to the children and creates a feeling of responsibility among them. The school stresses on the overall development of the students. The school encourages them to shine in all fields at national and international level. The entire staff is dedicated towards the students. The school cherishes and builds self-confidence among all the students. The school children have made not only the school proud but also the entire country proud by winning the NASA competition in the USA along with Thapar University students. Each year, the school students get top rankings in engineering and medical entrance examinations.
